Dorothy M. Ash

 Dorothy Marie Ash, met her goal of reaching the age of 100, and passed away June 22, 2021 at Rivers Edge in Emmett, Idaho.  She was born February 20, 1921 in Russellville, Oklahoma to Arkley and Ida Wright.   She lived with her family in Oklahoma till 1937 when her parents moved to Emmett, Idaho.  She has resided there for the past 84 years. 

 Dorothy married Roy Ash in 1940.  She was a devoted wife, mother, and friend.  She always had a smile for everyone around her.  She enjoyed reading, crocheting, baking, and canning.  She planted a huge garden every year.  She enjoyed the flowers that she planted around her yard.

 Dorothy is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Ernest and Bob Wright; sister, Marlou Cates; daughter, Marie Ash Page and son-in-law, Douglass Weathers.  She is survived by her Children, Roy (Cherie) Ash, Edith Weathers, 10 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, 25 great-great grandchildren and a best friend, Carol Hatfield.

 Services for Dorothy will be at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, July 1, 2021 at the Potter Funeral Chapel of Emmett.  Viewing will be available the hour prior to the start of services.  Burial will follow at the Emmett Cemetery.
