Donald "Don" Ross Cobb

 Donald "Don" Ross Cobb, 65, of Emmett, Idaho passed away August 20, 2026.
  Donald "Don" Ross Cobb was born in Salem, OR November 19, 1960 to his parents Ella Mae Good and Donald Ray Cobb. 
  He served in the National Guard in 1978 and moved on to the Navy where he served on the U.S. Independence CV-62.  Shortly after he got out of the military, he lived in Virginia Beach and went to ATI and got his automotive degree in 1989, then moved back to Nampa with his parents.  
   He met his wife Michelle Cobb up on the Lowman fire camp in 1989 and they were soon married on December 8, 1990.  They moved to Council where he worked as the school bus garage mechanic.  He then moved to Emmett, Idaho where he raised his five children. 
  He worked at the Sugar Beet Factory in Nampa for about 8 years until he secretly decided to go to truck driving school and graduated June 25, 1999.  He drove for many different companies over the years:  May Trucking, SMX and finally started driving for Kienitz Trucking where he got the nickname "Donald Duck".  This would be the last company he would work for.  
  In 2021 he got divorced.  He loved camping, Fishing and hunting.
  He is preceded in death by his mother, Ella Good; stepdad, Donald Cobb; Stepmother, Glenda Cobb; niece, Nikki Rimer-Longstroth and nephew, Jerome Rimer.  
  He is survived by his 5 children, Brittany Cobb (Adolfo Ozuna), Sarah (Taylor) Lewis, Mariah Cobb, Bryan Cobb (Bee Holm), and Cameron Cobb; his grandkids, Isabelle Henon, Jocelyn Cobb, Emily Lewis, Alexa Ozuna and Adam Cobb; and his siblings Peggy Jones, Carol Warner, Vernon Good and Yvonne Gehr.
