Dianna Lynn Kuhlman

  It is with a deep sadness that we announce the passing of Dianna Lynn Kuhlman, beloved mother and grandmother. Dianna passed away peacefully in the company of family on September 10, 2025 at the age of 76 in Boise, Idaho. Dianna was born on February 28, 1949 in Emmett, Idaho to Daniel and Crystal Book. 
  Dianna grew up and attended school in La Grande, Oregon where she was a member of the high school marching band and graduated in 1967. After high school she moved to Boise and attended beauty college where she earned her license as a beautician. In 1970, Dianna married Dave Johnson and they had two children, a son (David) and a daughter (Kim.) After a divorce, she remarried in 1981 to Chuck Kuhlman who helped her raise her young children. The two of them owned and operated Palisades Bar & Grill in Fruitland, Idaho together for 20 years. She remained married to Chuck until his passing in 2003.
  Dianna had immense love for both her family and her little dog Teddy and was always there when anyone needed her. She was a selfless and nurturing person who loved doing things for people and was always willing to give anything she had. She loved taking her parents to Jackpot and playing bingo with her mom. She was a big Boise State University fan and enjoyed watching the football games. One thing that Dianna will be best remembered for was her love of everything Elvis Presley.
 Dianna is preceded in death by her parents Dan and Crystal; her husband, Chuck; her uncle, Leonard Rogers; her aunt and uncle, Darlene and Leonard Bowers; and her cousin, Glenda Rogers. 
 She is survived by her children, son David L. (Tracy) Johnson; daughter; Kim R. McLain; her grandchildren, Kurtis Martinez, Chase McLain, and Carissa McLain; her brother and sister-in-law, Dan and Sally Book; her niece and nephew, Tricia and Travis Book (and family); her cousins, Linda Fleming, Pam Walker, Toni Kreiter, Steve Rogers and their families; and son in law Paul McLain.
 Services will be held on Friday September 19, 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Potter Funeral Chapel in Emmett, Idaho, this will be followed by a short graveside service at the Emmett cemetery. A viewing will also be available starting at 12:00 PM at the chapel. 
  Dianna was deeply loved by all who knew her, and she will be greatly missed.
