It is with love and profound sadness that we, the children of Colleen Faye Bicandi, share the passing of our beloved mother on November 25, 2025, in Cave Creek, Arizona, at the age of 92. Her kind heart, gentle laughter and warm smile were gifts she gave freely.
Colleen was born in Robertsville, Missouri on March 17, 1933 to AV and Beaulah Goodwin. Colleen attended Bramell School and graduated from Emmett High School in 1951, and Colorado Women's School in Denver.
Colleen was later reunited with her high school sweetheart, Eugene Bicandi and they married in 1957. They were married 46 years when Gene passed away in Emmett in 2003.
Colleen is survived by three children, Debra Rutherford and (Jospeh Rizzi) of San Jose, CA., Mitchell (Deborah) Bicandi of Cave Creek, AZ, and Michael (Jane) Bicandi of Redmond, OR; granddaughter, Tayler Irene Bicandi and (Dylan Fry) of Wickenberg, AZ; sisters-in-law, Vicki Bowman of McCall, ID and Julie Bilbao of Boise, ID; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Colleen was preceded in death by Dewey and Beaulah Bowman; brothers, Jim Goodwin and Joe Bowman; and sister, Marilyn Lorenzen.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at 10:00 AM at St. Mary's Episcopal Church 219 E. First St. Emmett, Idaho.
Arrangements are in the care of the Potter Funeral Chapel.
