Clyde Lacquement Obituary

 Clyde Philip Lacquement, 96, of Emmett, passed away July 17, 2021 at the VA Hospital in Boise.

 Clyde was born April 18, 1925 at Collins, Missouri, a son to Phillip J. and Mabel (Pollard) Lacquement. 

 He was married to Elizabeth (Betty) Price on August 12, 1951.  He earned a teaching degree at Kearney State Teachers College and studied Religion at Freed Hardman University.  He served in the USMC during WWII.  He lived over 60 years in Emmett and retired from the Boise Cascade Mill after 29 years of employment. Throughout his life preached often at local churches and spoke at many funerals.

Survivors include his children, Sandra (Ray) Flowers, Carolyn (Bill) Woodall, and Matt Lacquement; grandchildren James Lankford, Steve Lankford, Heather Claycomb, Fred Noland, Heather Hyde, and Josh Horton; a sister Verna Hatfield of Orlando, Florida, and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and great grandchildren.

 He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Betty, and siblings, Lena Shively, Betty Kurth, and Orville Lacquement.

Graveside services were held July 26, 2021 at the Pioneer Cemetery in Horseshoe Bend, Idaho where he was laid to rest next to his wife Betty.
