Clayton Winn Obituary

Clayton Arthur Winn, aged 80 years and 9 months, died on February 2nd, 2023 while doing what he loved most; working on his property in Emmett, Idaho.  Clayton was born April 20th, 1942, in Boise, Idaho.
Clayton lived a rich life working, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.  Most often, Clayton could be found taking care of his beloved acreage on South Slope Road.
He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Kathleen Winn, as well as his children, Jeffrey, Michael, Cristina and Rachel, and his siblings Suzanne, DeLane and Cindy.  His grandchildren include, Teylir, MaKenzi, Josh, Conner, Emily, Jennifer, and Parker.  He has many beloved great-grandchildren, and a great many friends.
Clayton was a banker by trade, starting at Bank of Idaho in Boise as a messenger.  When he retired at the age of 52, clayton was Senior Vice President of Wells Fargo.
To all of those who knew him, Clayton was the authority on everything from the best way to tow a trailer, the best way to plant a field, the best riffle to fish for trout, the best way to start a campfire, and the best way to get from here to there.
He will be missed, but our memories remain, and we are better to have known him.
