Chester Leroy Pevler

  Chester Leroy Pevler, 68, passed away Friday September 30, 2022, at his home in Emmett. He was born May 14, 1954, in Emmett to Norman and Eldene Pevler. He joined his 1 ½ year old brother, Walter, in the family. When Chester was almost 1 year old, his sister, Coleen was born. A year later, Chester was blessed with a younger brother, Clyde and seven years later, his youngest sister, Shannon, was born.

  He enjoyed the family farm and had a fun childhood with his parents and siblings. He attended Vanderdasson Elementary School, Parkview Junior High and went on to graduate with the Emmett High School Class of 1972.

  After graduation, Chester joined the National Guard. He married Paula Stack on Aug. 25, 1982, and together they raised two girls, Lindsey and Lisa. Chester worked 37 years at the Carnation Factory in Nampa until he retired in 2009 as a Triple A Mechanic.

 Chester was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Clyde. He is survived by Paula and their two children. He leaves behind 2 grandchildren, Kenzie & Dylan; siblings, Walter, Coleen and Shannon.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, October 6, 2022, at the Bramwell Cemetery under the direction of the Potter Funeral Chapel of Emmett.
