Cheryl Lee (Anson) Fisher was born March 13, 1946 in Nampa, Idaho to Bill and Pat Anson. She passed away March 29, 2024.
Cheryl spent most of her childhood in the Kuna and Nampa, Idaho areas. Her early school years were spent at the Happy Valley school in rural Canyon County, near the farm. She attended high school for 2 years.
In 1962, she married Harvey Fisher and moved to Emmett, where she graduated Emmett High in 1964.
Cheryl worked various jobs while Harvey went to BJC/Boise College. The bulk of her work life was then spent working in the office of the various Little family farming and ranching operations. She retired in 2002 after 27 years as Office Manager.
After retirement, she and Harvey built their retirement home in Emmett. She designed and decorated it in the county home style that took her memories back to the days of her youth. There she surrounded herself with trees, flowers and a huge garden and settled into the relaxed country life she always loved.
Cheryl is survived by Harvey, her loving husband of 62 years; sister Connie Bott; half-sisters Bonnie (Anson) Hites and Vergie (Anson) Clawson; half-brothers Michael, Rick and Dan Kegley; nephew Pat Hoffert; niece Alicia Bott as well and cousins and extended family.
Her family wishes to express their heartfelt appreciation for the kindness and care shown her by the staff of River's Edge Rehabilitation and Horizon Hospice.
Friends and family are invited to a celebration of life to be held Wednesday, April 24, 024 at 11:00 AM at the Willow Grove Event Center located at 4131 West Central Rd., Emmett, Idaho.
Arrangements are under the care of the Potter Funeral Chapel.
