Charles "Chuck" Lee Smith Jr passed away July 7, 2026, at his home.
Charles "Chuck" Lee Smith Jr was born on December 12, 1947 to Charles Lee Smith Sr and Jean Mable Smith in Emmett, Idaho.
He was a brother to 6 siblings. He is survived by his younger siblings Diana Oxnam, Douglas Smith and Walter (Bill) Smith.
In 1967, Chuck became a father and a husband. He followed in his father’s footsteps and became a fulltime farmer. Chuck helped raise his 3 children Tonie, Joseph, and Charley.
He loved the farming life and that was his life until Chuck had a devastating fall that broke his back. He required several surgeries and his life was forever changed. But he never stopped. He followed other passions like tinkering in the garage with cars or trucks, woodworking, gardening, yard work, camping, fishing and traveling. He loved adventures or just having morning coffee with his brother.
Some of Chucks greatest joys were his three children, seven grandchildren, five great grandchildren and his nieces, nephews and loved ones. He loved his family and spent as much time as he possibly could with them. So now we cherish the time we had together.
Chuck leaves behind his 3 children, Tonie (Mitchell) Bryant, Jospeh Smith and Charley (Jasmine) Smith; as well as all of the grandkids, great grandkids and many nieces and nephews.
A viewing will be held Friday, July 17, 2026 from 9:00 - 9:45 AM at Potter Funeral Chapel. Directly after, there will be a graveside service at the Emmett Cemetery at 10:00 AM.
