Carol D Scales

Carol D. Scales -  Nov. 8, 1943 - October 16, 2024. Our beloved Mom and Grandma peacefully joined her loving husband in heaven a few weeks before her 81st birthday. Carol was born in Birmingham, England and emigrated to Salt Lake City in 1962. She attended Stevens Henegar College and affiliated with Delta, Delta, Delta sorority. She then went to work at W.S. Hatch Co. After meeting her future husband John, she enjoyed being a homemaker. Carol loved gardening, decorating, knitting and crafts, cooking and travelling. She had a wonderful soprano voice and was always proud to be in her school choir. She was happily married for 52 years until John passed away in 2017. Her only beloved brother Robert was sadly killed in an accident when he was only 18. She is survived by her daughter Lisa and her husband Daryl Orenge, her daughter Suzie and her husband Dale Fine and their son, her most precious beloved grandson, Gabriel. She was the sweetest, most loving and best mom and grandma in the world. Her suffering is now over and she is with her dearly missed loved ones in heaven. She will be buried with her beloved husband John at the Willamette National Cemetery in Portland, Oregon.
