Carol Mansfield Obituary

 Carol Mansfield, 74 passed away on June 15, 2021.

 She was born in Tacoma, Washington on February 12, 1947.  She married Ed Mansfield in 1974 and together they raised their blended family.  A daughter Denise and son Todd from her marriage to Bob Hill and a son, Raymond from Ed’s marriage to Shirley Brubaker.  Todd and his wife Mary have a daughter Emi who the light of her “Nana’s” eyes.

 Mom and Ed had a wonderful life together.  She had a great sense of humor and was always the life of the party.  She loved music; singing and dancing were her favorite things to do.  She was also a Master Gardner, an accomplished painter, and an amazing cook.  Her cinnamon rolls were legendary.  She always provided a good home-cooked meal for those in need or fresh baked cookies for the boys on the garbage truck. Her love of flowers and gardening showed through in her work as a florist and in her flower gardens around the home she loved.  Mom loved people and laughter, she enjoyed her life and was always up for a good time.  Halloween was her favorite holiday and she took being “the witch” to new level every year.

 She is survived by her children Denise Hill of Emmett, Todd Mansfield, his wife Mary and their daughter Emily of Boise, her step-son Raymond Mansfield of Boise, and her mother Bonnie Wilson of Gardnerville Nevada.  She is also survived by three sisters, two brothers, many extended family members, and her best buddy Marion Henderson.  She was proceeded in death by her husband Ed and her father Darwin Miller.

 The family would like to thank Signature Hospice, Meadow View Memory Care, and Avamere for your loving care of mom over the last few years.  Your kindness was so much appreciated.
