Burt Alton Durham, 81, of Ola, Idaho, went to be with the Lord on July 5, 2026. Born July 19, 1944, to Burt Alton Durham and Virgina Lee (Hare) Durham in Anacortes, Washington; where his father was stationed during WWII.
Burt followed his father's footsteps and proudly served in the U.S Navy from 1965 to 1967 as an ordnanceman. He always remained fond of blowing things up.
Preceded in death by his parents and younger brother Donald.
He is survived by his spouse of 35 years Lucinda Marie (Spiker) Durham, Children Samuel (Cejay) Chavez, Nadyne Rose (Adam) Burra, Brian Able (Sierra) Chavez. Brother David (Claudia) Durham, Sister Susan White. 5 grandchildren from Alaska to Montana. Multiple nieces, nephews and grandnieces & nephews.
He held multiple jobs in his lifetime, but his favorite was traveling the world and the United States as a construction missionary.
Remembrances can be sent to either Ola Cemetery or Fellowship Baptist Church - Missions, Nampa Idaho.
Family and friends are invited to join us in honoring the life of Burt Durham at a graveside service on Thursday, July 9, 2026, at 4:00 PM at Ola Cemetery in Ola, Idaho.
