BETTY BELLE HUNT

 Betty Belle (Pouriea) Hunt passed away June 5th, 2018. She was born to Harry Joseph Pouriea and Florence Wilson January 28, 1923 in Rapid City, South Dakota.

 Betty grew up in the Blackhills of South Dakota where she and friends attended school, went bobsledding “up Blacktail”, spent summers on the ranch with her beloved maternal Grandma Nissan and met and married her childhood sweetheart, Mike.

 Her granddaughters and grandsons said she had the sweetest soul and the kindest heart. She was called Grandma by many and loved by all. Her family and extended family will miss her generous spirit, her lively humor, her unconditional love and her wisdom.

 The family would like to thank Meadow view Assisted Living and staff, her loving home for the last years of her life, Heart and Home Hospice for the loving care she received and Potters Funeral Chapel whose compassion and professionalism eased our way through the process of our mother’s death.

 Betty was preceded in death by her husband Michael Hunt, and her Mother and Father.

 She is survived by her beloved brother, Robert Pouriea of Portland, Oregon; daughters, Sharon Howe of Coeur d’Alene, ID and Diana Berry of Emmett, ID; sons, Michael Hunt of Garden Valley, ID and Daniel Hunt of Fort Jones, CA; 9 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren and two nieces.

 Private family services were held in Emmett.
