Anna Marie Lynn 93, still sharp as ever and very independent passed away after her loved ones were reminded by Amber that she did things her way. Although extremely against our instincts and our love for her, we left her side. Within minutes she entered into eternal rest on May 28, 2024.
On November 8, 2023, she was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. She had still been living on her own. She had to move into a place where she could be taken care of. The Cottages of Emmett was where her sister-in-law Donna Fackler found a room. Anna loved it there. She would say “the food is real good and they love me here”. She met Helen and they became instant friends. They would visit, eat meals together, listen to live music, and go on weekly excursions. The staff did love her! Special thanks to Alyssa, Amber, Christina, Rio, Katy, and we are sorry if we are forgetting anyone. We are also thankful for Adoria, Wendy, Heather, Teri, Ben, and anyone else we may have forgotten, from Harrison’s Hope hospice.
In the months before her passing, no one could tell she had cancer. She was very active. She still enjoyed sewing, doing word search puzzles, and putting puzzles together. Her niece, Terri Belcher, would visit each week. Once a month, they would go to Nampa to her favorite chiropractor office, which she had been going to for 10 years. She loved Dr. Ken Swaim, Alysson, and Linda! They loved her too!
Before living at the Cottages of Emmett, she lived at Maryland Village Apartments in Nampa for 12 years. She made lots of friends there and at the senior center too. She enjoyed sewing, watching Dancing with the Stars, playing cards, being with friends & family, and dressing up for Halloween. Thank you very much to her friends for helping her when needed.
Anna was born September 28, 1930, in Emmett, ID, to Earl and Thelma Fackler. She had 7 brothers (Wilford, Ray, Loren, Jesse, Ira, Leo, & Ivan) and 1 sister (Edith).
She is preceded in death by her parents and 7 siblings.
She is survived by her brother Ivan Fackler, sister-in-law Donna Fackler, several nieces, nephews, grand nieces, and grand nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, June 29, 2024, from 1:30 - 4:30 pm at Maryland Village Apartments, 1725 SunnyRidge Rd., Nampa, ID.
