VIVIAN DORIOT Obituary

Vivian Ellen Doriot, 81, of Las Vegas, Nevada passed away the 3rd of December 2018. Vivian was born to Robert P. Jones and Vivian A. Jones in 1937 in Visalia, California. Vivian had two brothers, Ed Jones and Robert Jones who are deceased.

The Journey

Vivian attended Brenda School District in Madera, California where she completed her grade school and 2 years of high school. During that time Vivian met David Carl Hansen at the county fair during the rodeo where Vivian became Rodeo Queen. She loved horses. They dated for some time then married and had two children David Michael Hansen and Robert Louis Hansen. During their 6 years of marriage, David worked in the dairy business and Vivian worked as a waitress. Dave and Vivian divorced, and she later met Ed Callahan whom she married. To this union came one daughter, Patricia Ellen Callahan Snyder. This marriage also brought to the family two sons, Chris Callahan and Sean Callahan, who are deceased. Vivian was married to Ed Callahan for 12 years and they divorced. Vivian met her True Love in Fred Doriot of Las Vegas.  They were married there and soon brought to the family two daughters, Monet Coquette Barton and Renee Yvette Bernero.

Vivian’s hobbies included working on their home in Emmett, keeping everything up outside, going fishing at Sawyers Pond for trout and at times going to river to catch Bass.  She loved the outdoors. She loved her neighbors in the surrounding area of County Line Road. She considers them as family. As her health started to diminish and it was hard to keep up the home on County Line Road after the passing of her husband Fred, she decided to move closer to, Patty Snyder, her daughter in Las Vegas, until she met the Lord after a long health battle.

Vivian is survived by her children, David Michael Hansen & his wife Janie Hansen, Robert Louis Hansen, Patricia Snyder & David Alexander, Monet Barton and Renee Bernero. Vivian had 18 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren. She also leaves behind her dog, Sophie.

A viewing will be 10th of December from 3:00 to 6:00 pm at the Potter Funeral Chapel. The graveside service will be at the Emmett Cemetery on Tuesday the 11th of December at 2:00 pm.
