VIRGINIA FOUST Obituary

Virginia Yvonne Foust, 70, of New Plymouth, went to be with her Lord and Savior peacefully at home with family at her side September 24, 2018. The first daughter of Clarence and Wanda Wilmot, Virginia was born on February 19, 1948 in Caldwell, Idaho.

She grew up in the Star, Idaho area and attended Star Elementary, Eagle Jr. High and Meridian High School. In 1964 she married her high school sweetheart, Robert Foust, and they had 54 wonderful years together. In late 1964 they welcomed their daughter, Shantel, into the family while living in Boise. In 1967 they welcomed their son, Herb, while living in Star. Virginia worked as a homemaker and cook at Star Elementary while her children attended school. She started to develop her cooking and baking skills at that time. In 1978 the family moved to New Plymouth, Idaho and started a dairy farm. It was at this time she created recipes making them her own. She loved to bake and make homemade candies, pies, canning and preserves. In the New Plymouth community, she was well known for her homemade caramels. She also loved to sew and decorate with crocheted projects, and she was the mom to numerous baby calves that she raised on the bottle.  During her life her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren were the center of her life and were always perfect. She took great pleasure in family meals, get-togethers and holidays. Her family was her greatest pride and joy.

She was preceded in death by her father, Clarence Wilmot. She is survived by her husband, Robert Foust, of New Plymouth; daughter, Shantel and Greg Lingel of New Plymouth; her son, Herb and Patti Foust of New Plymouth; grandchildren, Justine and Matt Dudley of Nampa, Amy and Jess Painter of New Plymouth, Janessa and Colby Thomas of New Plymouth, Easton and Kallie Foust of New Plymouth, Jianna and Geno Johnson of Billings, Montana; great grandchildren, Macy and Archer, Blayze and Avery, Tinley, Everly and Hagen, and Stailee; her mother, Wanda Wilmot, of Nampa and her sister, Vickie Little of Nampa, with whom she had a special sister relationship as well as several nieces and nephews.
