SHERRI BERGLUND Obituary

Sherri Ann Berglund passed away at home on March 14, 2019.  Sherri was born on May 9, 1955 to James and Helen Dougherty in Novato, California.  She was raised there along with 3 other siblings.  As a youth she found joy in the challenges as she participated in gymnastics.

Sherri married Phillip Berglund in 1973.  To this union were born two children, David and Melody.  The family settled into Emmett in 1984.  Together, Sherri and Phillip started the Pat Yer Beli Deli, played softball, went fishing and lived a fun-filled life.  After their divorce, Sherri worked many small jobs, meeting and befriending many people.

Sherri is preceded in death by her parents, 2 siblings and her long-time partner, Bob. She is survived by her brother, Mike, of Santa Rosa, CA; son, David (Teresa) Berglund of Oklahoma; daughter, Melody (James) Collingsworth of Washington; five grandchildren, Morgan (Noah), Jayden, Josiah, Alaina and Hurley; many nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews; son-in-law, Jason Dunbar, all of her many friends, and her beloved feline friend, Callie.

Services will be held at 3:00 PM on Wednesday, March 20, 2019 at the Autumn Court Apartment Community Room in Emmett, Idaho.

As many may know, Sherri was an avid crocheter and would create beautiful crochet pieces at the request of her friends and family.  To honor her special gift, a donation can be made in her name to Project Linus
