JESSIE C. FRANCIS

 Jessie C. Francis 85 of Meridian formerly of Riggins, went to be with the Lord on October 9, 2018.

 Jessie was born on April 15, 1933 to Ina and Fay Robinson in Centralia, Washington.  At a young age the family moved to the central Idaho area.  Jessie graduated from Clearwater Valley High School in Kooskia in 1952.

 In 1954 she met and married William H. Francis.  She and Bill worked in the logging industry for many years taking jobs in Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico, Washington and Oregon.  They also spent several years working on the Alaska pipeline where she meant many people and became “grandma” or “Aunt Jessie” to a large number of children although she never had any of her own.

 Jessie was a member of Eastern Star, American Legion, Rebekahs and Lady Elks. She spent the last few years in Riggins before moving to Copper Springs assisted living in Meridian, Idaho.

  She is survived by a sister Sandy Graves of Spokane, Washington, brother Bob Robinson and wife Marilyn of Boise Idaho, brother Bud Robinson and wife Leona of Nampa Idaho and many nieces and nephews.

 Funeral services will be held at the Potter Funeral Chapel in Emmett, Idaho at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, October 16, 2018. Jesse will be missed by many friends and a large loving family.
