ARDITH ANN (TIDWELL) PARSONS

 Ardith Tidwell Parsons (91) passed away quietly on June 2, 2019 at the Meadow View Assisted Living, Emmett, Idaho after internal complications.

 Ardith was born to John Leslie and Ida Geraldine Tidwell on April 11, 1928, the third of seven children. The family soon moved to Homedale, Idaho where she attended school and graduated from Homedale High School.

 As a young woman she would work at various farms and processing plants during the summer. While working she met a young man named Adrian “Mike” Parsons from  Roswell, Idaho and the two would soon marry on May 16,1952. Ardith and Mike would have five Children; Cheryl, Michael, Greg, Marion and Joe.

 The family would eventually move to Emmett, Idaho before the birth of their last two children. Adrian worked at Boise Cascade Sawmill for the next twenty years. Unfortunately, Adrian would develop cancer and passed away on December 1, 1973. Ardith finished raising her children alone.

 After the children were gone from home Ardith married two more times. Her final husband, Luther Mallard of Meridian, would be part of her life for 23 years more.  Ardith eventually returned to her little house in Emmett one more time. 

 Ardith’s health began to fail her, causing her to spend several years at care centers, the last being Meadow View Assisted Living in Emmett.  With failing health she slipped away to heaven in the evening of June 2, 2019. She was preceded by her youngest son Joe, her parents John and Geraldine Tidwell her husband Adrian Parsons and her husband Luther Mallard, sisters Jean, Toby and Martha and her brothers William “Don” and John.

 Ardith is mourned by her children and their mates, a brother Jerry Tidwell of southern Utah and her grandchildren; Justin, Brian, William Jennifer, Tiffany, John, Adrian and Alyssa. Ardith had eleven great grandchildren as well.

 Services will be held at 2:00 PM on June 7, 2019 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Downtown Building on East Second St. in Emmett, Idaho.  'Viewing will be available starting at 1:00 PM. Burial to take place at the Emmett Cemetery.
